2017 was a big year for us – because we did a big trip. 6 months, over 30.000 kilometers; it’s all documented in this blog.
The world has changed a lot since then. What’s changed less than we expected are the memories we have from that journey: We still know so much about what happened between Berlin and Tokyo. Where we slept, what we ate, where we found gas, weird details like an instant coffee brand sold in the Eastern part of Siberia (Maxim).
Ever since we came back from Tokyo, we’ve been wanting to do another trip. And we we’re quick to decide where it should take us: From Berlin to Cape Town. When it comes to Africa, we’ve only been to Egypt and Morocco so far – and know so little about the continent and its many, many different countries and cultures. Plus, we can still go on Route 66 when we’re old and grey.
So, Africa it is.
Starting January 2024, we’ll attempt to go all the way down to South Africa with our little CRF300 Rallys. And we’re happy to take you along. Here and on instagram.
